Great hotel in excellent location

Excellent central location, ideal for historic centre, the port and the beach. We had a tenth floor room so great view and a pleasant balcony. The bed was superking and comfortable. The bathroom was good with a decent shower.

Perfect location. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere, with a very professional, free, helpful staff. We went half board, the food was excellent quality and delicious.

The room was very clean and comfortable, The hotel location is literally the best it gets! Close to all attractions and the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. All in all, a great stay! Would definitely recommend.

The TV didn't have any entertainment options besides for the local channels.

Wonderful

Location lies between the Malaga beaches and historical oldtown. It'd be real gem during summer months if you wish to access to both. Airport busses leave just near by. Its a proper hotel facility with large rooms and comfy beds, and you can also benefit from the sauna and jacuzzi sitting on top floor. I consider returning to same place

MS MAESTRANZA Great hotel with amazing services!

It is a great hotel, they surprised me with a bottle of Champagne to my birthday sent to my room. Clean and comfortable! GREAT LOCATION ! Great breakfast ! Amazing workers ! I totally recommend! The breakfast is really more than i expected even for vegetarians or vegans !!!

Do not book with dinner ! Dinner is not what I expected (restaurant is a different location/company) and they have their local aristocrates guests ! The waiters are great there but it is not my type of restaurant!

Wonderful

Excellent located hotel close to the sea, to the port with promenade and Centre Pompidou, nice view from the rooftop - there is a small gym, jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna. Very short walk to bus stop to the airport - ca. 100 m.

Excellent hotel with comfortable room. Lovely bar and restaurant.

The hotel was very nice, located in a perfect position close to the old town and very close to the harbour. The room was very comfortable with a magificant shower. The best part was the lovely busy bar and restaurant where there was always guests there. We ate there one night and the food was great, with great service.

Stayed before and will stay again, we love MS Maestranza

Our third or fourth stay at MS Maestranza and once again impressed. Location great, staff superb and breakfast delicious. A lovely ten minute walk thru the gardens gets you straight into city centre area, or straight across the street to the harbour restaurants. Staff over and above normal, always a credit to the establishment. Quality and choice of buffet breakfast is outstanding. We will definitely be staying at MS Maestranza next time we fly into Malaga!

Just be aware of traffic noise on rooms at front - back rooms overlooking plaza de toros are much quieter, not a negative, just something to consider for your stay.

Great location. Clean rooms, with view on castle and bull fighting arena.

The location is just unbeatable good. Easy to reach downtown, the beach and good connection to the airport (autobús A). Bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits.

Coffee at breakfast could be better. The elevators are very small.

Definitely worth another visit.

The staff - kind and helpful. Location and view - perfect. There's easy access to local bus lines which can lead you almost anywhere in the city. Moreover, the hotel is close to the port, Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. Rooms - perfect, clean and comfortable.

The only issue which can be noted out is the breakfast. There was a good variety, the staff again - pleasant and kind, but the quality was not worth the money given. Mostly - tasteless.

Comfortable hotel in a great location

Excellent location close to the old city and all main attractions and just a short walk to the beach. Comfortable room with good choices for breakfast. Staff were very helpful with providing gluten free options

It can be difficult to enter and exit the bath/ shower especially for anyone that has mobility issues. A non slip mat would be helpful.

Lovely little hotel with beach nearby

The hotel has quite a traditional Spanish feel. Room was very nice, clean, quite spacious. The beds were very comfortable The hotel is on a busy road but there was no traffic noise in the room. There is a rooftop solarium which was good, plenty of loungers, There was also a jacuzzi and steam room, neither of which were open whilst we were there which was a shame.

The location was further from Malaga centre than we thought, about a 20 minute walk into the centre. It is very close to the beach and there are a few cafes and restaurants nearby. We were room only but had breakfast on the first day which was very disappointing for the price. There is an excellent cafe across the road which we used.

Friendly staff as always at the hotel, perfect location for getting around the city

Had a leak in the bathroom ceiling which meant I had to change rooms in the middle of the stay due to the level of it, but was sorted out immediately by the staff in reception
